Jesser Escobar – Story & Artistic Journey

Jesser Escobar was born in Barquisimeto, Lara, Venezuela, where he lived until the age of 19. From a very young age, he showed a deep passion for drawing and painting, creating illustrations and canvas artwork that revealed his natural talent and artistic sensitivity.

As the years passed, his passion evolved into urban art. He began creating murals in the streets of Barquisimeto, where his artistic vision expanded and his connection to large-scale expression grew stronger.

After graduating, a friend and fellow artist introduced him to tattoo equipment and encouraged him to explore body art. From the very first moment, Jesser knew he had found his true calling. In 2015, through discipline and determination, he worked hard to purchase his first tattoo machine — marking the official beginning of his career as a professional tattoo artist.

At just 19 years old, he made the bold decision to immigrate from Venezuela in search of greater professional growth and opportunities within the tattoo industry. Starting in 2016, he traveled to countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, and Chile, participating in major tattoo conventions where he earned significant awards, including Best of Show and First Place in Color Realism, among others.

In 2019, he decided to settle in Chile, a country that welcomed him for four and a half years. During that time, he achieved national and international recognition, participated in prestigious events, and had the honor of serving as a convention judge. This period marked a major expansion and consolidation of his artistic career.

In 2023, he immigrated to the United States, where his career continued to rise. He has served as a judge in important conventions and has won major awards, including First Place in Large Color and Best of Event. His consistency, technique, and artistic vision have positioned him among the standout artists within the U.S. tattoo industry.

Throughout his journey, he has had the opportunity to work in renowned studios such as Inkhation Studios New York and Ganga Tattoo Los Angeles.

Currently, Jesser resides in North Carolina, where he continues to refine his craft, pushing realism and surrealism to the highest level in every project he creates.
